System architecture
Modular architecture subdivided into autonomous levels

Traffic control computer: the traffic control computer is the central control station for traffic direction; it computes the operating statuses for the entire route and stores the traffic data. High-availability, high-performance server with database and web server.

Section controller: subordinate control centre with local, web-enabled operation and autonomous safety logic. SoftSPS technology on maintenance-free embedded hardware.

Cross-section controller: universal, intelligent input/output system for operating and monitoring a variety of signal types.

Traffic data recording: recording and plausibility-checking of traffic data.
